A dental veneer is a thin porcelain or composite shell that the dentist glues to the front of a tooth. It is used to restore discolored, misshapen, worn or chipped incisors or canines. Some patients use veneers to slightly change the position of a misaligned tooth or fill in a gap between two teeth (diastema).
Unlike dental crowns, veneers are used mainly to enhance a smile, not to reinforce teeth. At Centre Dentaire Delongchamp, we can recommend the right treatment for you.
